INGREDIENTS
Fish
- 🐟 2 pieces of cod
Oil
- Enough salad oil for frying
Liquid
- 💧 3 tbsp water
Flour
- 🌾 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
Sesame
- 🌰 6 tbsp white sesame seeds
Seasoning
- 2 tsp sake
- 🧂 A pinch of salt
- 🥢 1 tsp soy sauce
STEPS
Pat the cod dry with paper towels and cut into bite-sized pieces.
Mix the seasoning ingredients (sake, salt, soy sauce) in a bowl and marinate the cod for about 10 minutes.
Combine flour and water in a bowl to create a batter. Coat the marinated cod in the batter, then roll it in sesame seeds.
Heat salad oil in a pot to 170°C (340°F). Fry the cod pieces, turning occasionally, until golden and crispy. Drain excess oil.
