INGREDIENTS
Main
- 🦑 500g squid (cleaned)
- 4 tbsp potato starch
- Enough salad oil for frying
Seasoning
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- đź§‚ 1/3 tsp salt
- đź§„ 1/2 tsp grated garlic
- 2 tsp curry powder
- A pinch of pepper
STEPS
Remove the squid's innards and cartilage, wash thoroughly, and pat dry. Cut off the tentacles below the eyes, remove the beak, and trim the tips. Scrape off the small suction cups with your fingers.
Cut the tentacles into 2-3 pieces each and slice the body into 1cm wide strips. Repeat for both squids.
Mix the seasoning ingredients in a bowl, add the squid, and marinate for 15 minutes. Coat the squid with potato starch.
Heat salad oil to 170°C in a pot, fry the squid until golden and crispy, turning occasionally.
