INGREDIENTS
Wrapper
- 20 dumpling wrappers
Seafood
- 🍤 120g peeled shrimp
Meat
- 60g ground pork
Vegetables
- đź§… 1/2 stalk green onion, chopped
- 30g chives, minced
Seasoning
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- đź§‚ 1/4 tsp salt
- A pinch of pepper
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 1 tbsp potato starch
Condiment
- Ponzu sauce to taste
STEPS
Chop the green onion into 2mm slices and mince the chives.
Wash the peeled shrimp under water and pat dry with a paper towel. Roughly chop the shrimp.
In a bowl, mix the green onion, chives, shrimp, ground pork, and all seasoning ingredients to create the filling.
Place 1/20 of the filling onto a dumpling wrapper. Wet the edges with water, fold in half, and seal. Wet the ends and overlap them to secure. Repeat for all wrappers.
Boil a pot of water and cook the dumplings for 4-5 minutes until they float and the meat is cooked through.
Serve the dumplings on a plate with ponzu sauce on the side.
