INGREDIENTS
Meat
- 🐖 150g pork belly slices
Vegetables
- 🍆 2 eggplants
- 🥬 4 lettuce leaves
- 4 shiso leaves
Seasoning
- 1 tbsp sake
Spicy Sesame Sauce
- 2 tbsp white sesame paste
- 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
- 🧂 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tbsp miso
- 1 tsp chili oil
STEPS
Cut the pork belly into bite-sized pieces.
Peel the eggplants, remove the stems, and cut into quarters lengthwise. Soak in water and drain. Tear lettuce into bite-sized pieces and slice shiso leaves thinly.
Layer lettuce, eggplant, and pork in a microwave-safe dish. Sprinkle sake over the top, cover loosely with plastic wrap, and microwave at 600W for 4 minutes until the pork is cooked.
Mix all spicy sesame sauce ingredients in a bowl.
Plate the cooked ingredients, drizzle with spicy sesame sauce, and garnish with shiso leaves.
