    • 3 tbsp potato starch
    • Enough salad oil for frying
  • Marinade

    • 1 tbsp sake
    • 🍬 1 tsp sugar
    • đź§‚ 1/3 tsp salt
    • 1/2 tsp grated ginger
    • đź§„ 1/3 tsp grated garlic
  • Negi Shio Sauce

    • đź§„ 1/3 tsp grated garlic
    • 1/2 tsp chicken stock powder
    • đź§‚ Pinch of salt and pepper
    • 4 tbsp sesame oil

STEPS

Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces. In a bowl, mix chicken with marinade ingredients and massage well. Let it sit for 10 minutes. Add potato starch and coat evenly.

Heat salad oil in a pot to 180°C (356°F). Fry the chicken for about 4 minutes until golden brown.

Finely chop the green onion. Mix all sauce ingredients in a bowl to prepare the negi shio sauce.

Plate the fried chicken and pour the negi shio sauce over it.
