INGREDIENTS
Vegetables
- 1 myoga
- 4 okra (48g)
Seasonings
- 1 ume plum
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1 packet (4g) bonito flakes
STEPS
Rub okra with a pinch of salt on a cutting board (board rubbing). Wash with water and lightly pat dry. Trim the stem ends, place in a microwave-safe container, cover loosely with plastic wrap, and microwave at 600W for 40 seconds. Rinse with water and pat dry.
Cut okra into diagonal thirds. Slice myoga thinly after halving it lengthwise. Remove the seed from the ume plum and mash it into a smooth paste using a knife.
In a bowl, combine the seasonings (ume plum, soy sauce, bonito flakes), myoga, and okra. Mix well.
