  • Rice

    • 🍚 1 cup soaked rice
  • Seafood

    • 🦪 1 can clams (130g)
  • Vegetables

    • 🍄 50g maitake mushrooms
    • 1/2 piece sliced ginger
  • Liquids

    • đź’§ Water as needed
  • Seasonings

    • 1/2 tsp Japanese dashi powder
    • 1/2 tbsp sake
    • 1/2 tbsp mirin
    • đź§‚ 1/3 tsp salt
    • 1 tsp soy sauce

Separate maitake mushrooms into small pieces and slice ginger thinly.

Drain the clams and separate the clam meat from the canned juice.

In a rice cooker, combine soaked rice, seasonings (dashi powder, sake, mirin, salt, soy sauce), clam juice, and water up to the 1-cup mark. Mix well and flatten the rice surface.

Place ginger slices, clam meat, and maitake mushrooms on top of the rice and cook using the regular rice setting.

Once cooked, gently mix the rice and toppings together.
