INGREDIENTS
Seaweed
- 100g fresh kiriboshi kombu
Seasoning
- 2 tbsp sake
- 2 tbsp mirin
- 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- đź’§ 150ml water
Garnish
- 🌰 1 tbsp toasted white sesame seeds
STEPS
Cut the fresh kiriboshi kombu into bite-sized pieces.
In a small pot, combine the kiriboshi kombu and all seasoning ingredients. Heat until boiling.
Cover the pot and simmer on low heat for about 10 minutes.
Remove the lid and cook on medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the liquid is absorbed.
Turn off the heat and mix in the toasted white sesame seeds.
