INGREDIENTS

  • Rice

    • 🍚 2 bowls (300g) cooked white rice
    • 🌰 2 tsp white sesame seeds
  • Seasoning

    • đź§‚ 2 tsp soy sauce
    • 1/2 tsp Japanese granulated dashi
  • Vegetables

    • 50g kimchi
    • đź§… Chopped green onion, as needed
  • Liquid

    • đź’§ 400ml water
  • Oil

    • 1 tsp salad oil

Mix cooked white rice and white sesame seeds in a bowl. Shape into rice balls using plastic wrap.

Heat a frying pan with a thin layer of salad oil. Place the rice balls in the pan and cook over medium heat until browned.

Flip the rice balls, turn off the heat, and add soy sauce. Let the rice balls absorb the soy sauce flavor.

In a small pot, combine granulated dashi and water. Bring to a boil to prepare the broth.

Place the rice balls in a bowl, top with kimchi and chopped green onion, and pour the hot broth over them.
