INGREDIENTS
Main
- 200g yellowtail fillet
- 150g grated daikon
- 2 tbsp potato starch
- As needed salad oil
Seasoning
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp grated ginger
Garnish
- As needed chopped green onion
- 2 tbsp ponzu sauce
STEPS
Grate the daikon and lightly squeeze out excess water.
Pat the yellowtail fillets dry with paper towels and cut into bite-sized pieces.
Mix the seasoning ingredients (sake, soy sauce, ginger) in a bowl and coat the yellowtail pieces. Let them marinate for 5 minutes, then pat dry and coat with potato starch.
Heat salad oil to 180°C and deep-fry the yellowtail pieces for about 3 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
Plate the fried yellowtail, garnish with grated daikon and chopped green onion, and drizzle with ponzu sauce.
