INGREDIENTS

  • Dumpling Wrappers

    • 20 large dumpling wrappers with glutinous flour
  • Filling

    • 200g ground pork
    • đź§… 2/3 stalk scallion, minced (110g)
    • 1 tbsp sake
    • đź§‚ 1/3 tsp salt
    • 1 tbsp sesame oil
    • Pinch of pepper
  • Scallion Sauce

    • 🍬 2 tsp sugar
    • 1.5 tbsp vinegar
    • 1.5 tbsp soy sauce
    • đź§„ 1/2 tsp grated garlic
    • 1 tbsp white sesame seeds
    • 1/2 tbsp chili oil

Mince the scallion and divide it into two portions.

In a plastic bag, combine ground pork, half of the minced scallion, and the filling seasonings (sake, salt, sesame oil, pepper). Knead until sticky. Cut the tip of the bag to pipe the filling.

Pipe 1/20 of the filling onto each dumpling wrapper. Wet the edges with water and fold into pleats to seal. Repeat for all 20 dumplings.

Boil a large pot of water and cook the dumplings for about 5 minutes until they float.

Mix the remaining scallion with the sauce ingredients (sugar, vinegar, soy sauce, garlic, sesame seeds, chili oil) to make the scallion sauce.

Serve the boiled dumplings on a plate and drizzle with scallion sauce.
