    • 1 tbsp sake
    • 1 tbsp miso
    • 1/2 tsp doubanjiang
    • 2 tsp oyster sauce

Prepare the mackerel fillets by rinsing and patting them dry.

Cut the atsuage tofu into bite-sized pieces and slice the burdock root thinly.

Separate bok choy leaves and rinse thoroughly.

Heat a pan over medium heat and add water, sake, miso, doubanjiang, and oyster sauce. Stir until combined.

Add mackerel fillets, tofu, burdock root, and ginger slices to the pan. Simmer for 10 minutes.

Add bok choy leaves and simmer for another 5 minutes until tender.
