INGREDIENTS
Main Ingredients
- 🍗 200g chicken thigh
- 🍋 1 lemon
- 3 tbsp potato starch
- 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
- Enough vegetable oil for frying
Chicken Marinade
- 1/2 tbsp sake
- 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
- đź§„ 1/2 tsp grated garlic
Lemon Sauce
- đź§‚ 1 tsp sugar
- 🍋 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 3 tbsp water
Thickener
- 1/2 tsp potato starch
- 1/2 tsp water
STEPS
Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces. Slice half the lemon into rings and squeeze juice from the other half.
Mix the marinade ingredients in a bowl and marinate the chicken for 10 minutes.
Coat the chicken evenly with potato starch and flour.
Heat vegetable oil in a pan to 170°C and fry the chicken until cooked through and crispy.
In a pan, mix the sauce ingredients, add lemon slices, bring to a boil, and thicken with the starch-water mixture.
Plate the fried chicken and drizzle the lemon sauce on top.
