Whole Tofu and Beef Hot Pot

    • 🐄 100g sliced beef
  • Main Ingredient

    • 150g firm tofu
    • 🥬 2 leaves (160g) cabbage
  • Seasoning

    • 1 tbsp sake
    • 🧂 1/2 tbsp sugar
    • 2 tbsp concentrated soy sauce
    • 💧 200cc water

Add the seasoning ingredients (sake, sugar, soy sauce, and water) to a pot and heat over medium heat. Once boiling, add the sliced beef and reduce to low heat. Skim off any foam and push the beef to one side of the pot. Add the tofu and cover the pot, simmering for about 5 minutes.

Using kitchen scissors, cut the cabbage into bite-sized pieces directly into the pot. Bring to a boil again, cover, and cook over medium heat for about 1 minute until the cabbage softens.
