INGREDIENTS
Vegetables
- 🧅 2 whole onions
Meat
- 🥓 2 slices of bacon
Oils
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Liquids
- 💧 400 ml water
Seasonings
- 🧂 1/3 tsp salt
- 1/2 tbsp consommé
Toppings
- Dried parsley, to taste
- Grated cheese, to taste
STEPS
Cut a cross at the root of each onion. Wrap each onion in plastic wrap and microwave at 600W for 6 minutes.
Slice the bacon into thin strips.
Heat olive oil in a pot over medium heat. Add bacon and sauté until crispy.
Add water, consommé, and salt to the pot. Bring to a boil.
Add the microwaved onions to the pot. Cover and simmer on low heat for 10 minutes.
Serve in bowls and garnish with parsley and grated cheese as desired.
