INGREDIENTS
Dough
- 🌾 180g all-purpose flour
- 🧂 1/4 tsp salt
- 🧈 100g unsalted butter
- 🥚 1 egg yolk
- 💧 2 tbsp cold water
Filling
- 🥚 2 eggs
- 🧈 30g melted unsalted butter
- 🍯 30g brown sugar
- 🍯 150ml corn syrup
- 🌰 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 🌰 100g walnuts
STEPS
Preheat the oven to 170°C and bring eggs to room temperature.
In a bowl, sift flour and salt, then add cold butter. Mix with a spatula until crumbly. Add egg yolk and cold water, forming a dough. Wrap and chill for 30 minutes.
Cut walnuts into quarters. In a bowl, whisk eggs and mix with all filling ingredients.
Roll out the dough thinly and place it in a tart pan. Poke holes with a fork.
Fill the tart with the prepared filling, leaving space at the top.
Bake in the preheated oven at 170°C for 35–40 minutes.
