INGREDIENTS
Wrapper
- 20 dumpling wrappers
Seafood
- 🦐 150g peeled shrimp
Vegetables
- 2 tbsp wakame seaweed
- 🧅 Chopped green onion, as needed
Protein
- 🧈 100g firm tofu
Seasoning
- 1 tbsp sake
- 🧂 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 1.5 tbsp cornstarch
Soup Base
- 💧 300ml water
- 1 tbsp sake
- 🧂 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp chicken stock powder
- 1 tsp soy sauce
STEPS
Soak wakame in water until softened. Drain well and chop finely.
Chop shrimp finely and mash with the back of a knife.
In a bowl, mix wakame, shrimp, tofu, and the seasoning ingredients until sticky.
Place 1/20 of the filling onto each dumpling wrapper. Wet the edges with water and seal. Repeat for all wrappers.
Heat the soup base ingredients in a pot over medium heat. Cook half the dumplings for 1 minute, then another minute after they float. Serve with soup and garnish with green onion.
