INGREDIENTS
Vegetables
- 1 turnip with leaves (80g)
Seaweed
- 1 tsp dried wakame
Seasoning
- 1/3 tsp granulated dashi
- 2 tbsp miso
Liquid
- đź’§ 400 ml water
STEPS
Cut the turnip, leaving about 1 cm of the stem. Peel the turnip, cut it in half lengthwise, and slice thinly with the cut side down. Chop the leaves into 1 cm pieces.
In a pot, add the turnip, water, and granulated dashi. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Cover and simmer on low heat for 2 minutes until the turnip is tender. Add the turnip leaves and cook for 1 more minute.
Turn off the heat and dissolve the miso into the soup. Add the wakame and stir. Heat over medium heat until it comes to a gentle boil.
