INGREDIENTS
Vegetables
- 1 turnip
- 100g nameko mushrooms
Liquid
- đź’§ 400ml water
Seasoning
- 2/3 tsp dashi powder
- 2 tbsp miso
STEPS
Cut the turnip into 8 wedges, leaving 1cm of stem. Chop the stem and leaves finely. Wash the nameko mushrooms to remove slime and drain.
Heat water and dashi powder in a pot. Add turnip and nameko mushrooms, bring to a boil, then simmer on low heat for about 3 minutes until the turnip softens.
Add the turnip stems, leaves, and miso. Stir to dissolve the miso and warm through.
