INGREDIENTS
Meat
- 2 slices of ham
Vegetables
- 1 turnip with leaves (80g)
Noodles
- 20g vermicelli
Oil
- 1 tsp sesame oil
Seasonings
- 🧂 1/4 tsp salt
- A pinch of pepper
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1/3 tsp chicken stock powder
Liquid
- 💧 400cc water
STEPS
Peel the turnip, leaving a 1cm stem, and cut into 8 wedges. Chop the leaves into 3cm pieces. Cut the vermicelli into shorter lengths using kitchen scissors.
Cut the ham in half and slice into 1cm strips.
Add the turnip, ham, and seasonings (☆) to a pot. Heat over medium heat until boiling, then cover and simmer on low heat for 5 minutes until the turnip softens.
Add the turnip leaves and vermicelli to the pot. Simmer on low heat for 2 minutes until the vermicelli softens. Drizzle with sesame oil before serving.
