STEPS

Wash the clams by rubbing the shells together.

Quarter the tomato and cabbage. Slice the garlic thinly.

Heat olive oil and garlic in a pan until fragrant, then add the tomato and sauté over medium heat.

Add cabbage and water, bring to a boil, cover, and simmer on low heat for 10 minutes until softened.

Add clams and sake, cover, and simmer for 5 minutes until the clams open.
