    • 🥕 1/3 carrot, diced into 1cm cubes

    • 🥓 4 slices bacon, cut into 1cm strips
  • Oil

    • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Canned Goods

    • 🍅 1 can diced tomatoes
  • Seasoning

    • 🥛 300cc milk
    • 1/2 tsp consomme
    • đź§‚ 1/2 tsp salt
  • Garnish

    • 🥖 8 slices baguette
    • 🌿 Chopped parsley, as needed

Mince the onion, dice the carrot and potato into 1cm cubes, and soak the potato in water before draining.

Cut the bacon into 1cm strips and separate the clams from their canned juice.

Heat olive oil in a pot over medium heat. Add onion, carrot, bacon, and potato. Sauté until the potato edges turn translucent. Add diced tomatoes and clam juice, cover, and simmer on low heat for 12 minutes.

Add the clams and stir. Once boiling, add milk, consomme, and salt. Adjust seasoning and heat until gently bubbling.
