    • 🍅 1 tomato
    • 100g okahijiki
  • Seasoning

    • Bonito flakes, as needed
    • 6 tbsp ponzu sauce
    • đź’§ 5 tbsp water
    • 1 tsp grated ginger

Remove the stem of the tomato and make a shallow cross-cut on the opposite side. Cut okahijiki into bite-sized pieces.

Mix the seasoning ingredients (ponzu sauce, water, and grated ginger) in a bag.

Boil water in a pot, blanch the tomato until the skin starts peeling, and remove it. Use the same water to blanch okahijiki for about 1 minute until tender, then drain well.

Place the peeled tomato and blanched okahijiki into the bag with the mixed seasoning.

Cool the bag in a bowl of cold water. Cut the tomato into bite-sized pieces, plate with okahijiki, and sprinkle bonito flakes on top before serving.
