INGREDIENTS
Main Ingredients
- 🧈 300g silken tofu
- 🥚 1 beaten egg
- 1/2 piece ginger, julienned
Seasoning
- 💧 150ml water
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 🧂 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/3 tsp dashi powder
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
Garnish
- 🧅 Chopped green onion, as needed
STEPS
Julienne the ginger.
Place the tofu on a microwave-safe plate and heat it in a 600W microwave for about 2 minutes without covering. Let it cool and drain the excess water.
In a pot, mix all the seasoning ingredients (☆) and ginger thoroughly. Heat over medium-low heat while stirring until the mixture thickens. Pour in the beaten egg and stir gently to create the egg sauce.
Place the tofu on a serving plate, pour the egg sauce over it, and garnish with chopped green onions.
