    • 100g silken tofu
    • 🥚 1 egg
  • Seasoning

    • 1/4 tsp Japanese dashi powder
    • đź§‚ 1 pinch salt
    • 1/2 tsp soy sauce
    • 1/4 tsp grated ginger
    • 150ml water
  • Toppings

    • White sesame seeds to taste
    • đź§… Chopped green onion to taste

In a bowl, crumble the tofu and mix well. Add the egg and mix thoroughly. Add the seasoning ingredients (dashi powder, salt, soy sauce, ginger, and water) and mix until smooth. Strain the mixture through a sieve to achieve a silky texture.

Divide the tofu-egg mixture evenly into heatproof bowls.

Line a frying pan with 3 layers of cooking paper and place the bowls inside. Add water to reach halfway up the sides of the bowls. Heat over medium heat until steam appears, then cover and steam on very low heat for 20–25 minutes.

Top with sesame seeds and chopped green onion before serving.
