Thick Fried Tofu Cheese Bacon Rolls

    • 1 piece (200g) thick fried tofu
    • 4 slices long bacon
    • đź§€ 40g pizza cheese
  • Sauce

    • 1 tbsp mirin
    • 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
  • Garnish

    • đź§… Chopped green onion, as needed

STEPS

Wipe off excess oil from the thick fried tofu using a paper towel, then cut into 4 equal pieces. Make a slit to halve the thickness.

Stuff each tofu piece with 10g of pizza cheese. Place a slice of bacon vertically, set the tofu on top, and roll from the edge. Repeat to make 4 rolls.

Mix the mirin and soy sauce in a bowl to prepare the sauce.

Line a baking tray with aluminum foil and place the rolls on it. Brush the surface with the sauce and bake in a toaster oven for 5–7 minutes until golden brown.

Plate the rolls and garnish with chopped green onion.
