INGREDIENTS
Fish
- 🐟 250g mackerel fillets
Coating
- Potato starch, as needed
Oil
- Salad oil, as needed
Seasoning
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp grated ginger
- 🧄 1/2 tsp grated garlic
STEPS
Pat the mackerel fillets dry with paper towels and cut them into thirds.
Mix the seasoning ingredients (sake, soy sauce, ginger, garlic) in a plastic bag and add the mackerel. Massage the mixture into the fish and refrigerate for 15 minutes.
Lightly drain the mackerel and coat evenly with potato starch.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan to a depth of 1cm at 170°C. Fry the mackerel until golden brown and cooked through, turning occasionally.
