INGREDIENTS

- 🍆 3 eggplants
- đź§‚ 1 pinch salt
- 3-5 tbsp potato starch
- A small amount of cooking oil
Sauce Ingredients
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp fish sauce
- 2 tbsp vinegar
- 2 tbsp corn syrup
- 🍬 1/2 tbsp sugar
- đź§„ 1 tbsp minced garlic
- A small amount of black pepper
- 1 tsp chili powder
STEPS
Tenderize the eggplants by lightly pounding them with a rolling pin, then tear them into strips along the grain.
Sprinkle a pinch of salt inside the eggplant strips.
Place potato starch in a plastic bag, add the salted eggplant strips, and shake to coat them evenly.
Heat cooking oil in a preheated pan. Fry the coated eggplants over medium-low heat until golden brown on both sides, then remove and set aside.
Pour the sauce ingredients into the same pan and bring to a boil. Add the fried eggplants and mix gently until the sauce is absorbed. Sprinkle sesame seeds before serving.
