INGREDIENTS
Main Ingredients
- 🥩 150g sliced beef
- 1/2 bag chrysanthemum greens
- 1/2 burdock root
Cooking Oil
- 1 tbsp salad oil
Garnish
- 🌰 1 tbsp white sesame seeds
Seasoning Sauce
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp mirin
- đź§‚ 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/3 tsp Japanese dashi powder
- đź’§ 100ml water
STEPS
Cut chrysanthemum greens into 4cm pieces. Shave burdock root into thin slices and soak in water, then drain.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add beef and stir-fry until its color changes. Add burdock root and stir-fry until lightly coated with oil.
Add the seasoning sauce ingredients to the pan. Cover and simmer over medium-low heat for 4–5 minutes.
Add chrysanthemum greens and cook while reducing the sauce until the greens are coated.
