INGREDIENTS

- 400g sundae (Korean blood sausage)
- 🥬 1/4 head cabbage
- đź§… 1/2 onion
- 100g perilla leaves or sprouts
- 50g rice cakes
- 🥕 1/4 carrot
Seasonings
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- đź§„ 2 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tbsp rice wine
- 1 tbsp plum extract
- đź§‚ A pinch of black pepper
- 2 tbsp gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 4 tbsp chili powder
- 2 tbsp perilla seed powder
STEPS
Steam the sundae for about 10 minutes after removing the outer packaging.
While steaming, chop the vegetables (cabbage, onion, carrot, perilla leaves).
Mix gochujang, chili powder, oyster sauce, minced garlic, rice wine, plum extract, and black pepper to create the sauce.
Heat olive oil in a pan and sauté minced garlic.
Add onion and cabbage to the pan and stir-fry until slightly softened.
Pour the prepared sauce into the pan and stir-fry until the vegetables are well coated.
Add steamed sundae, rice cakes, and chopped green chili or scallions to the pan and stir-fry lightly.
Add perilla leaves and sprinkle perilla seed powder over the dish.
Finish with a sprinkle of sesame seeds and serve hot.
