INGREDIENTS
Seafood
- 🦐 150g peeled shrimp
Vegetables
- 150g yam, sliced
- 🧅 1/2 stalk green onion, minced
Oil
- 2 tsp sesame oil
Seasoning
- 1 tbsp sake
- 🍬 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 🍅 3 tbsp ketchup
- 1/2 tsp doubanjiang
- 1/2 tsp grated ginger
- 💧 50ml water
Thickener
- 2 tsp cornstarch
- 💧 2 tsp water
STEPS
Slice yam into 1cm thick rounds and cut into halves. Mince green onion. Remove shrimp veins, wash, and pat dry.
Heat sesame oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add shrimp and green onion, stir-frying until shrimp changes color.
Add yam and seasoning ingredients (sake, sugar, soy sauce, ketchup, doubanjiang, ginger, and water). Stir-fry for 2 minutes, then add cornstarch slurry and mix until sauce thickens.
