INGREDIENTS
Main Ingredients
- 🥔 2 medium-sized potatoes, diced
- 200g Spam, diced
- đź§… 1/2 onion, diced
Seasoning
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp corn syrup
- đź’§ 3-4 tbsp water
- 1 tbsp cooking oil
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
STEPS
Dice the potatoes, Spam, and onion into small cubes. Soak the diced potatoes in water.
Blanch the diced potatoes in boiling water for 2 minutes. Remove and set aside.
Blanch the diced Spam in the same boiling water for 10 seconds to remove excess salt and additives.
Heat 1 tbsp cooking oil and 1 tbsp sesame oil in a pan. Add the blanched potatoes and stir-fry over medium heat.
Add the diced onion to the pan and stir-fry until slightly softened.
Add the diced Spam to the pan and stir-fry together with the potatoes and onions.
Mix 2 tbsp soy sauce, 3-4 tbsp water, and 2 tbsp corn syrup. Pour the mixture into the pan and stir-fry until the liquid is reduced and absorbed.
Turn off the heat and let the residual heat cook the potatoes further. Avoid overcooking to prevent the potatoes from breaking apart.
