INGREDIENTS
Vegetables
- 1 bunch sesame leaf shoots
- đź§… 2 tbsp chopped green onion
Seasoning
- đź§‚ 1/2 tbsp coarse salt
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp perilla oil
- đź§„ 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 2/3 tbsp plum extract
- 🌰 Generous amount of sesame seeds
STEPS
Trim the tough stems of sesame leaf shoots and wash them thoroughly.
Boil water and add 1/2 tbsp coarse salt. Blanch the sesame leaf shoots for about 1 minute.
Rinse the blanched shoots in cold water, squeeze out excess water, and cut them into bite-sized pieces.
Mix the shoots with soy sauce, perilla oil, plum extract, and minced garlic. Toss well to coat evenly.
Heat a pan over medium heat and stir-fry the seasoned shoots. Add chopped green onion and continue to stir-fry lightly.
Turn off the heat and sprinkle sesame seeds generously. Mix well and serve.
