INGREDIENTS
Rice
- 🍚 2 cups cooked rice
Vegetables
- đź§… 1/2 onion, chopped
- 10 perilla leaves, sliced
Protein
- 3 sheets fish cake, sliced
Seasoning
- A pinch of black pepper
- 2 tbsp sesame seeds
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
Sauce
- 1/2 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 1/2 tbsp sugar
- đź§„ 1/2 tbsp minced garlic
- 2 tbsp water
STEPS
Slice the perilla leaves into thin strips.
Cut the fish cake and onion into similar-sized pieces.
Mix chili powder, water, soy sauce, mirin, sugar, minced garlic, and oyster sauce to create the sauce.
Heat a pan with oil and stir-fry the onion and fish cake over medium heat.
Sprinkle black pepper over the mixture.
Add cooked rice and pour the sauce over it. Stir-fry on medium heat until well combined.
Turn off the heat, drizzle sesame oil, top with perilla leaves, and sprinkle sesame seeds generously.
