INGREDIENTS
Meat
- 200g thinly sliced pork belly
Vegetables
- 🍆 3 eggplants, chopped
- 10 snap peas, halved
Seasoning
- đź§‚ A pinch of salt and pepper
- 1 tbsp salad oil
Sauce
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 🍬 1 tsp sugar
- 1.5 tbsp miso
- 🌰 1 tbsp white sesame seeds
STEPS
Remove the stems from the eggplants and chop them into bite-sized pieces. Trim the snap peas and cut them diagonally in half.
Cut the pork into 3cm-wide pieces and season with a pinch of salt and pepper.
Mix the sauce ingredients (sake, mirin, sugar, miso, and sesame seeds) in a bowl.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the pork and stir-fry until the color changes and it becomes crispy. Add the eggplants and stir-fry until softened.
Add the snap peas and stir-fry briefly. Pour in the sauce and mix everything together.
