  • Vegetables

    • 3 bell peppers

    • đź§„ 1 clove garlic
    • 1 piece ginger
  • Seasonings

    • 1 tbsp cornstarch
    • 1 tbsp sesame oil
    • 1 tbsp sake
    • 1 tbsp mirin
    • đź§‚ 1 tbsp soy sauce

Cut the bell peppers in half lengthwise, remove the stems and seeds, and slice thinly. Slice the green onion diagonally into 1cm pieces. Mince the garlic and ginger.

Remove the tendons and fat from the chicken liver, cut into bite-sized pieces, and soak in water for 30 minutes. Drain and pat dry with a paper towel. Coat the liver with cornstarch.

Heat sesame oil in a frying pan, add garlic and ginger, and cook until fragrant. Add the liver and green onion, and stir-fry over medium heat.

Add the bell peppers and stir-fry. Mix in the sake, mirin, and soy sauce. Cook until the liver changes color and the liquid is reduced.
