- 🍚 2 bowls cooked rice (400g)
- 🐖 150g thinly sliced pork belly
- 🥬 2 lettuce leaves
- 4 shiso leaves
- 🧂 Pinch of salt and pepper
- 1 tbsp sake
Sauce
- 2 plums, pitted and mashed
- 2 tbsp ponzu soy sauce
- 2 tsp sesame oil
STEPS
Cut the pork into bite-sized pieces. Place the pork in a microwave-safe container, season with salt, pepper, and sake, and massage the seasoning into the meat. Cover loosely with plastic wrap and microwave at 600W for 3 minutes.
Tear the lettuce into bite-sized pieces. Roll the shiso leaves and slice them thinly. Remove the pits from the plums and mash them with a knife.
Mix the mashed plums, ponzu soy sauce, and sesame oil in a bowl to create the plum sauce.
In a serving bowl, layer the rice, lettuce, cooked pork, and drizzle the plum sauce on top. Garnish with sliced shiso leaves.
