INGREDIENTS
Vegetables
- 🎃 1 Korean zucchini
- 10 perilla leaves
- 1/2 red chili
Condiments
- 🧂 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp mirin
- 1 tsp plum extract
- 🧄 1 tsp minced garlic
- 🧅 1 tbsp chopped green onion
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
STEPS
Cut the Korean zucchini in half lengthwise and steam it.
Once steam starts, lower the heat and let it cook for 5 minutes. Turn off the heat.
Wash the perilla leaves, trim the stems in a V-shape, roll them, and slice thinly.
Slice the red chili into small pieces and prepare the soy sauce mixture.
Place the steamed zucchini on a serving plate and slice it into bite-sized pieces.
Top the zucchini with sliced perilla leaves and red chili. Drizzle the soy sauce mixture over the top.
