    • 50g tempura flour
    • đź’§ 80cc water
  • Coating

    • Tempura flour, as needed

STEPS

Cut shallow crosshatch patterns on both sides of the squid body, then slice into 3cm wide pieces. Pat dry with paper towels and lightly coat both sides with tempura flour.

In a bowl, mix tempura flour and water until smooth to create the batter.

Heat salad oil in a pot to 170°C (4cm depth). Dip squid pieces into the batter and gently drop them into the oil. Fry for about 1 minute until the batter is crispy.

Serve on a plate with salt on the side.
