STEPS

Remove the roots from the spinach and cut into 3cm lengths. Julienne the carrot. Cut the ham in half and slice thinly.

In a pot, add water and carrot. Cover and bring to a boil.

Add spinach, ham, shredded cheese, consomme, salt, and pepper to the pot. Simmer briefly.
