INGREDIENTS
Main
- 2 slices yellowtail
- đź§‚ Pinch of salt and pepper
- Adequate potato starch
- 2 turnips
- 1 tbsp salad oil
Spicy Sauce
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp grated ginger
- 1/2 tsp doubanjiang
STEPS
Cut the turnips into 8 equal pieces.
Season the yellowtail with salt and pepper, let it sit for 5 minutes, then pat dry with a paper towel and coat with potato starch.
Mix the spicy sauce ingredients (sake, mirin, soy sauce, ginger, doubanjiang) in a container.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan over medium heat, add the yellowtail, cook until browned, flip, and cook for another minute. Push to the side of the pan.
Add the turnips to the pan and stir-fry until softened. Add the spicy sauce and stir-fry over medium heat.
