INGREDIENTS
Seafood
- 🦑 1 squid
- 🐙 20 small octopuses
Vegetables
- 🧅 1/2 onion, sliced
- 🧅 1 green onion, chopped
- 1 green chili, chopped
- 1 red chili, chopped
- 🥕 1/4 carrot, sliced
Seasoning
- 3 tbsp cooking oil
- 1 tbsp gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 🧄 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 3 tbsp chili powder
- 5 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 cup water
- 1.5 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
STEPS
Mix gochujang, minced garlic, soy sauce, chili powder, and water to create the sauce.
Slice onion, chop green onion, green chili, red chili, and carrot. Prepare squid and octopus by cutting them into bite-sized pieces.
Heat a pan and add cooking oil. Stir-fry the green onion to create aromatic green onion oil.
Add squid and octopus to the pan and stir-fry until partially cooked.
Add sugar to the pan and stir-fry to enhance sweetness.
Pour the prepared sauce into the pan and stir-fry on high heat until the seafood is well coated.
Add the prepared vegetables to the pan and stir-fry until they are slightly softened and well mixed with the sauce.
Finish by adding sesame oil and sesame seeds. Stir well and serve.
