INGREDIENTS
Main Ingredients
- 300g firm tofu
- 🍗 150g chicken thigh
- 8 shishito peppers
- đź§… 6cm white part of green onion
- đź§‚ Pinch of salt and pepper
- 1 tbsp salad oil
Miso Sauce
- 1.5 tbsp miso
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 1 tsp doubanjiang
STEPS
Wrap the firm tofu in kitchen paper, place it on a microwave-safe plate, and heat at 600W for 1.5 minutes. Let it cool and cut into bite-sized pieces.
Remove stems from shishito peppers, slice the green onion diagonally, and cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces.
Mix all miso sauce ingredients in a bowl until well combined.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan over medium heat and add the chicken. Stir-fry until the chicken changes color.
Add tofu, shishito peppers, and green onion to the pan. Stir-fry gently, flipping the tofu occasionally. Add the miso sauce and stir-fry until everything is evenly coated. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, lightly stir, and serve.
