- 🐟 250g horse mackerel, filleted
- 🥬 3–4 lettuce leaves
- 🥒 1 cucumber
- Potato starch, as needed
- 1 tbsp salad oil
Spicy Scallion Sauce
- 🧅 1/2 scallion, minced
- 1 small piece ginger, minced
- 1/3–1/2 tsp doubanjiang
- 🧂 2/3 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp vinegar
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
STEPS
Coat the horse mackerel fillets with potato starch evenly.
Heat salad oil in a pan and pan-fry the fillets until golden brown on both sides.
Prepare the spicy scallion sauce by mixing scallion, ginger, doubanjiang, sugar, soy sauce, vinegar, and sesame oil in a bowl.
Arrange lettuce leaves and cucumber slices on a plate as a base.
