INGREDIENTS
Main Ingredients
- 1-2 sheets fish cake
- 1-2 handfuls bean sprouts
- 1-2 green chilies, sliced
- 🧄 0.5 tbsp minced garlic
- 🧅 A small amount of sliced green onion
- 0.7 tbsp red pepper powder
- 0.5 tbsp soy sauce
- 🧂 0.5 tsp salt
- A pinch of black pepper
Broth Ingredients
- 🐟 8-10 dried anchovies
- 1 sheet kelp (5cm x 5cm)
STEPS
Prepare all ingredients. Wash the bean sprouts thoroughly, and cut the fish cake and green chilies into appropriate sizes.
Make the broth. Add water to a pot and include dried anchovies and kelp. Boil on high heat.
Reduce to medium-low heat and simmer for about 15 minutes. Remove the kelp and optionally remove the anchovies.
Add bean sprouts to the broth and boil on high heat for about 7 minutes. Keep the lid open while boiling.
Add fish cake, red pepper powder, soy sauce, and salt. Boil for another 2-3 minutes.
Finally, add minced garlic, sliced green chilies, and green onion. Bring to a quick boil and serve.
