INGREDIENTS
Noodles
- 🍜 1 serving of somyeon noodles
Vegetables
- 🥬 3 tbsp chopped kimchi
- 🥒 2 tbsp julienned cucumber
Protein
- 🥚 1 boiled egg
Seasoning
- 1 tbsp gochujang
- 1.5 tbsp chili powder
- đź§‚ 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
- 🍶 1 tbsp vinegar
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 🌰 1 tbsp sesame seeds
STEPS
Mix gochujang, chili powder, soy sauce, sugar, and vinegar in a bowl, excluding sesame oil and sesame seeds.
Boil somyeon noodles in water. Add cold water 2-3 times during boiling for firmer noodles.
Drain the noodles and rinse under cold water. Rub gently to remove starch.
Combine chopped kimchi and prepared sauce in a bowl.
Add noodles to the bowl and mix until evenly coated with the sauce.
Add sesame oil and sesame seeds, then mix well. Garnish with cucumber and boiled egg.
