INGREDIENTS
Meat
- 500g thinly sliced pork belly
Vegetables
- 1.5 handfuls of bean sprouts
- đź§… 1 whole onion, sliced
- đź§… 1 stalk of green onion, chopped
Seasonings
- 7 tbsp soy sauce
- 3 tbsp mirin
- 🍬 2 tbsp sugar
- đź§„ 1 tbsp minced garlic
STEPS
Slice the onion and green onion. Prepare bean sprouts by cleaning them under running water.
Heat a wide pan and add the pork belly. Stir-fry until the fat starts to render but the meat is not fully cooked.
Mix soy sauce, mirin, sugar, and minced garlic in a bowl to create the sauce.
Add sliced onion and green onion to the pan with the pork belly. Stir-fry until the onions soften slightly.
Place bean sprouts on top of the pork and onions. Pour the prepared sauce over the ingredients.
Stir-fry until the bean sprouts are slightly tender but still crunchy. Ensure the sauce coats all ingredients evenly.
