INGREDIENTS
Main Ingredients
- 1 cup rice cakes
- 1 handful glass noodles
- đź§… 1 stalk green onion
- đź§… 1/2 onion
- 1/3 bell pepper
- 🍄 1 shiitake mushroom
Seasonings
- đź’§ 1 cup water
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
- đź§„ 1/2 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tsp sesame oil
STEPS
Soak the rice cakes and glass noodles in cold water for 10-15 minutes.
Cut the green onion into 3 cm rectangular pieces and thinly slice the remaining vegetables.
In a pot, combine 1 cup of water, 3 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp sugar, and 1/2 tbsp minced garlic. Bring to a boil.
Once the sauce starts boiling, add the rice cakes and cook for a few minutes.
Add all the vegetables to the pot. If you prefer crunchy bell peppers, add them later.
When the vegetables are partially cooked, add the soaked glass noodles.
Simmer until the sauce reduces and becomes thick. Finish with 1 tsp sesame oil and garnish with sesame seeds.
