INGREDIENTS

- 30 shishito peppers
Seasonings
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- đź§„ 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp corn syrup
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- Generous amount of sesame seeds
STEPS
Wash the shishito peppers thoroughly and poke holes in them using a fork to allow the seasoning to penetrate.
Heat 2 tbsp of vegetable oil in a pan and add 1 tbsp of minced garlic. Stir-fry until fragrant.
Add the shishito peppers to the pan and stir-fry lightly.
Once the peppers are slightly wilted, add 2 tbsp of soy sauce and 1 tbsp of corn syrup. Simmer until the sauce thickens.
Turn off the heat and mix in 1 tbsp of sesame oil and a generous amount of sesame seeds.
