- 200g dried squid
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 🍬 2 tbsp sugar
- đź§„ 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 2 tbsp corn syrup
- A pinch of sesame seeds
STEPS
Rinse the dried squid lightly under running water to remove excess seasoning and soften it slightly.
Drain the rinsed squid and pat dry. Cut into bite-sized pieces using scissors.
Mix the squid with 2 tbsp sesame oil and let it sit for 5 minutes to soften.
Prepare the sauce by combining soy sauce, sugar, minced garlic, and mirin in a bowl.
Heat a frying pan over medium heat and stir-fry the squid for about 2 minutes until some moisture evaporates.
Reduce heat to low and quickly mix in the prepared sauce. Stir well to coat evenly.
Turn off the heat and let the squid cool for 1 minute.
Add 2 tbsp corn syrup and a pinch of sesame seeds, then mix well.
